Since there are no testing laboratories in the Gulf region that can meet the requirements of the GCC standard, test reports issued by laboratories accredited by the GSO organization are accepted. However, the GSO organization stipulates that if necessary, it can send personnel to the production company to verify that its production control and test equipment are in compliance with the requirements, and can carry out on-site witness tests, and reserves the right to require relevant tests to be carried out in a certified third-party independent laboratory. This part of the GSO certification is actually quite flexible, as long as it can issue a more official national standard or ISO, their acceptance is relatively high, even if the enterprise standard can meet its official requirements they will also accept.
